The completely redesigned 2027 Kia Seltos is coming to dealerships across the province, starting at $28,495 MSRP, with a roomier cabin, more cargo space, and three different powertrain choices to suit different driving styles.

This second-generation Seltos carries over the engines buyers already know while adding a new hybrid option, fresh technology, and a refreshed design language. A Completely Redesigned Subcompact SUV

The 2027 Seltos is a fully redesigned generation, not a light refresh. Kia stretched the wheelbase by 60 mm over the previous generation, and that extra length pays off inside the cabin. Rear passengers get 25 mm more legroom and 25 mm more headroom, which makes the back seat friendlier for taller riders.

Cargo space grows too. The Seltos offers an estimated 1,817 L behind the first row and an estimated 786 L behind the second row, so there is room for gear, groceries, or weekend luggage. The Seltos is offered in five trims, ranging from the well-equipped base model up to the top X-Line Limited. 

The LX FWD 2.0L is the base trim at $28,495 MSRP, with an estimated all-in price of $31,858. From there the lineup moves through the EX, EX Premium, X-Line, and X-Line Limited.

Three Powertrains to Match Your Drive

One of the most interesting parts of the new Seltos is the choice of three powertrains.

• 2.0L naturally aspirated four-cylinder: paired with Kia’s Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) and offered on the LX, EX, and EX Premium trims.
• 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder: produces 190 hp, routes power through an 8-speed automatic transmission, and is exclusive to the X-Line and X-Line Limited trims.
• 1.6L Hybrid (HEV): a four-cylinder hybrid paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, offering front-wheel drive plus available electric all-wheel drive (e-AWD), a Kia first on a hybrid SUV.

The 2.0L and 1.6T models are coming to Manitoba dealerships, with the Hybrid expected by year-end 2026. Official fuel economy figures will be shared closer to each powertrain’s on-sale date.

A Cabin Built Around Big Screens

Inside, the Seltos features a standard dual 12.3-inch display setup, pairing a 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Higher trims add a 5-inch climate control panel, bringing the total to nearly 30 inches of combined screen real estate.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard across all trims, and the Seltos includes four standard USB-C ports, two up front and two in the rear, so devices in both rows can stay charged.

The X-Line trim comes with an exclusive monotone black interior with SynTex upholstery, while available comfort and convenience features include a panoramic sunroof, Surround View Monitor, and a memory power driver’s seat with lumbar support.

Standard and Available Safety Technology

The 2027 Seltos comes with a comprehensive roster of standard and available Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, bringing content often found in more upscale SUVs.

Standard ADAS features include:

• Advanced Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning
• Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist
• Lane Keeping Assist
