Kia Canada has priced the 2027 EV3 across ten trims, and the all-in figures run from $39,744 for the Light FWD to $58,746 for the GT AWD. Two upgrades change what the SUV can do: the 81.4 kWh battery, which arrives with Wind FWD for $4,000 over Light and lifts rated range from 356 km to 517 km, and the dual-motor AWD system, which delivers 262 hp and 284 lb-ft and settles range near 451 km. Most of the remaining steps buy comfort and styling rather than range or traction.
The Wind AWD at $43,495 MSRP is the trim where the powertrain story is complete. It holds the big battery, both motors and 19-inch wheels without paying for the sunroof, liftgate or synthetic leather that Land adds. Manitoba drivers who split time between city commutes and gravel back roads get the traction they need at a mid-lineup price. Winnipeg Kia stocks the lineup for side-by-side comparison.
- Spend the first $4,000 on the battery: Light to Wind FWD is the largest single gain in the lineup, and it adds a heat pump for cold prairie mornings.
- Evaluate AWD by road surface rather than horsepower, since the second motor earns its cost on spring melt and gravel more than on dry highway.
- Compare the $45,995 fork: Land AWD keeps both motors and adds comfort content, while GT-Line FWD trades AWD for 19-inch wheels, ventilated seats and a sport steering wheel.
- Note that GT-Line Limited FWD costs $1,500 more than GT-Line AWD yet returns to a single motor, so traction-first buyers can stop at GT-Line AWD.
- Reserve the GT AWD at $55,995 for its 288 hp, 345 lb-ft and GT-only cabin and brake accents.
Manitoba’s driving mix of long highway stretches, rural gravel and hard winters makes the FWD-versus-AWD decision more consequential than in milder provinces. The EV3 puts that choice on five of its six trim levels.
